Central Vac Motor Units

Nybakke is proud to sell the MD Manufacturing central vacuum units as they are Built in America in Bakersfield, California. Nybakke can sell, install and fully service the central vacuum system purchased through us, whether you live in Normal, Bloomington, East Peoria, Minier, Carlock, Edwards, Morton, Mahomet, Champaign or anywhere in central Illinois.

The MD motor units that Nybakke recommends have a bag and filter system. You don’t want to have a significant amount of dust and debris going through your motor fans. Many central vacuum units are economically designed where they are pretty much the same design as a cheap shop vac sold in discount stores. They put the motor of top of the unit and tell you that the dirt will drop down into the bucket yet the motor fans and exhaust is through the motor and out the top. Most dirt and dust is virtually weightless thus the dirt goes through the motor fans and that is the reason most require you to vent the unit outside.

Some central vac instructions of bagless designs recommends putting a large garbage bag around their units so dirt and dust doesn’t bellow all over the garage or more importantly you, when you dump it out. Why not just put it into a bag in the first place and it is easier on you when changing the bag?

If you ever will complain about any vacuum it is normally that you don’t have enough suction or power. Do not make a mistake this way on central vacuums. You can never have too much power. Whenever you see a rating on a central vacuum unit, it tells you a square footage that they believe it will have at least the minimum amount of suction power that you need for that amount of area. Never buy for the least amount of power. The larger square footage rating of the unit in the smaller amount of area that it is in, is the better way to look at which motor unit is best for you. In other words, Nybakke has the F600t motor unit which is rated up to 6000 sqft, which means in a 2000 sqft to 6000 sqft home would be ideal.

F600t Specifications
MD F600tThe model F600t is a big seller as it is perfect for 75% of homes built today. The majority of homes are around 2000 sqft to 6000 sqft and with a rating that this powerhouse of a central vac has, it can give you tremendous performance on both hard floors as well as carpets (with the right tool set). Some motor units give you good suction or waterlift, others give you high airflow rated in CFM (cubic feet or air per minute) but low suction. This motor unit gives you both so you have the lift to pull dirt up off the floor and high tool performance and high CFM so you have high airflow through the carpet pile. You no longer have to sacrifice cleaning in one area or the other. This also features high filtration down to one micron (invisible to the human eye). This keeps your garage or basement clean but also more importantly keeps the motor clean. No venting outside means the motor runs much cooler and that extends motor life.

Silent Master S900r Specifications
MD Silent Master S5The Silent Master S900r model is the Gold Standard in central vacuum motor units. The largest of the bag capacities, 12 gallon bag is actually 1500 square inches of surface area for the greatest airfow and achieve maximum power. Notice that the inside bag system is tapered and does not allow for the bag to seal to the inside diameter of the canister. Meaning that airflow can breathe through the entire surface area of the bag system. I have seen as much as 25lbs of dirt and debris inside this unit and it still had great suction. Also notice with this cut away of the S900r, two motors inside the canister. Each motor has three fans meaning that you have six moving fans creating the amazing amount of power. Industry ratings have this meeting the least amount of power for up to 20,000 sqft. Now you can never have too much power so if you want the maximum and have a large home with more than 9 inlets or the motor unit may be over 100 feet away from its furthest inlet then you should consider this model. The Silent Master design is also incredible since with all this power, you may believe that this model would be noisey. Yet it has 50% less noise than units with half the power.
